There are so many benefits of asking for help, here are just a few:
- Shorten the amount of time you need to learn something
- Helps you get unstuck on something
- If asked in the right place it can help establish you as a business owner
- It show that you are focused on improving and growing your own business
- It creates a support system for you
- Saves you time and money
- Helps you avoid mistakes
Avoid over giving and under selling
On the flip side if someone asks you for help, make sure that you are not over giving and under selling. It important to help people and doing that helps you establish your Know, Like and Trust factor. But if they are asking for help your area of expertise it is important to know when to move from helping them for free into a sales conversation.
