IgnitYourMarket.com is an informational site that empowers business owners via education, coaching, and support. The primary focus of news and information presented is for Canadian and U.S. based businesses.
How does Horizon Performance Insights use information collected?
Personal information collected is primarily used for the purpose in which it is collected: for the distribution of a newsletter, document, electronic course, electronic challenge, or inquiry to interested recipients. In addition, your information is used to:
- Review the effectiveness of our marketing programs
- Notify you of new information, products or services that may be of interest to you
- Obtain feedback on our website, products, services, business coaching, giveaways or other aspects of our business
Our Spam Policy
Horizon Performance Insights is opposed to spam. We will only send emails to users that have explicitly requested to receive information. For example, opt-in to our newsletter, filled out a contact form, registered for a free gift/give-away, or joined a coaching program.
What Information Do We Collect?
Anonymous Information Collected
An IP address is an anonymous bit of data dropped by all site visitors (both human and bots). It is tracked by the following entities for better security, content creation, and marketing purposes.
Your browser may also send response headers with generic/anonymized information about the type of browser, computer/device, and ISP you are using, and your location by country only.
- Google Analytics– so I can discover the type of content you find most helpful and create more of it. (Note: Google does not have access to this data.)
- SiteGround Hosting– kept in the server logs so the host can identify and stop bad bot attacks.
- YouTube– if you view a YouTube embedded video on the site, the IP info is sent to YouTube to record that the video has been viewed, just as it would if you had watched it directly on YouTube.
- Facebook Pixel Tracking– so I can retarget ads to like-minded site owners on that social platform. (Not your email, just anonymous IPs)
My list service provider is AWeber
If you elect to subscribe, your email address will be stored on their servers. You can access your info any time by clicking the Manage Subscription link at the bottom of any email you receive from me.
I never have, and never will share your email address with any person or entity for marketing purposes. That includes Facebook. I will never upload my email list to that platform or any other.
YouCanBook.me is used to integrate the site’s business calendar with Zoom for webinars and client meetings. Client email addresses are retained by both services to facilitate meeting info notification, reminders, and rescheduling.
IgniteYourMarket.com utilizes numerous contact forms throughout our site. Required information includes full name, email address and phone numbers. The information is stored in the site’s database hosted by SiteGround. This information is mandatory in order to receive a response from Heather Cameron, Horizon Performance Insights.
Leaving a comment on one of our posts requires that you identify yourself by email address. That info is stored in the site’s database.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if the email address you used is connected to that provider so your avatar displays next to your comment.
On-Going Service Data
Direct communication to you is run by my back office system, GSuites – runs my entire back office, including email. Emails are retained. (Note: Google does not have access to this data.)
I normally do all of my coaching work by myself, I will not outsource anything without your knowledge and explicit permission.
When purchasing a program or coaching package, we utilize a third-party payment program, PayPal, to process and manage your payment. Certain standard required information includes address and credit card information. Transactions are secured via SSL encryption and credit card details will never be e-mailed.
Webinars and online meetings
Program Materials and Recordings
Participants of webinars, online meetings and paid coaching programs consent to recordings being made and shared with participants. Recording of paid coaching programs will only be shared with participates of the same group.
Horizon Performance Insights reserves the right to use, at its sole discretion, course materials, including videos and audio recordings, and materials submitted by a program participants in the context of the program.

Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you on their site.
